IP structured finance is a new asset class that enables financing of commercial products and technologies based on their future royalty income. IP structured finance transactions are excellent sources of finance, and are sought by intellectual property owners because they offer a convenient source of capital at an attractive cost, in a manner that is complementary to equity financing coupled with reduced business risk.
